1. Who We Are

MeltPricer is operated by Albee Holdings LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the MeltPricer app and website at meltpricer.com. Contact us at [email protected] with any privacy questions.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Email address — collected when you make a purchase or subscribe. Used to link your license to the app and send transactional emails (receipts, subscription notices).
• Payment information — collected by Stripe on our behalf. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.

Information collected automatically:

• App state — weight, purity, unit preferences, and spot price mode are stored locally in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
• Cached spot prices — gold and silver prices are cached locally on your device for offline use. We do not log which prices you viewed.
• Basic usage data — Cloudflare (our hosting provider) collects standard web analytics including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We use this only for performance monitoring.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process your purchase and activate your license
• To send transactional emails (receipts, subscription confirmations, renewal notices)
• To verify subscription status when you enter your email in the app
• To respond to support requests
• To monitor app performance and uptime

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your email for marketing without your consent.

4. Third-Party Services

MeltPricer uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
• MetalpriceAPI — real-time gold, silver, platinum, and palladium spot price data. No personal data is sent to this service.
• Google Play — for users who download via the Play Store, Google's privacy policy applies to the download transaction.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your email address and license status are stored in Cloudflare KV, a globally distributed key-value store. Access is restricted to our backend Worker and protected by Cloudflare's infrastructure security.

We retain your email and license record for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your record within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Unsubscribe from transactional emails (note: this may affect your ability to use account-based features)

7. Children's Privacy

MeltPricer is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
